……………………………………………………………………………………………I don’t know what to say.

Wizard 36 (1) Yes, this is THE WORST arc of Kamen Rider Wizard. Why? Because it’s a goddamn filler, and a very bad one because of the slapstick comedy nature in it. Honestly who the hell wrote this episode? Oh, it’s the guy who first wrote episode 32 & 33, which also happens to be a filler! I mean Wizard’s funny moments are funny as hell, but I don’t understand why this one sucked ass.

To start off, this review will be short hopefully, the plot is basically Rinko trying to chase an suspect of an arson who has a pet hill myna, and to make matters worse, Shunpei joins in and resulted in the arsonist getting away! Because of this Rinko’s superior threatens to fire Rinko if this happen again, all because of Shunpei. Yes, from this moment, Shunpei is very annoying than Yuki Jojima multiplied by 10. Poor Rinko, I liked her but this episode messed her up pretty bad.

Wizard 36 (2) At the very least the episode did have some importance on it, although I still hate the episode overall. One of it is Haruto and Wajima’s conversation about Koyomi, as well as Philosopher’s Stone. Apparently Wajima knew about the Philospher’s Stone as it grants the ability to turn anything into gold, which makes me think that even though that knowledge is common (founded in Wikipedia), Wajima may know more about the mages of Kamen Rider Wizard. Who knows, he might be involved actually. It’s just a thought.

And in order to find out more about the Stone, Haruto decides to travel back to the forest, and finally discovers that the forest is an evil version of the Ginga Forest from Gingaman. Fortunately Infinity Style is enough to break the barrier, revealing Wiseman’s hideout.

Wizard 36 (3) And thus our hero finally meets the main antagonist of the show: Wiseman. However, this is what disappoints me. Their encounter is so short, the only significance is that Medusa is now aware of the Stone as well. As for their ‘fight’, it’s barely a fight because Wiseman drains Wizard’s mana and throws Haruto out of the hideout. I think they were meant to show that Wiseman is so powerful that even Infinity Style can’t touch him, but it’s poorly done.

As for Rinko, she’s stressed about her superior’s warnings and blames Shunpei for it. Yes, I completely agree with her saying that Haruto has a bad assistant. But to fuck things up, Shunpei decides to catch the arsonist himself! WHAT THE FUCK IS WRONG WITH YOU SHUNPEI?! I mean just look when him and Rinko chase the suspects, it’s just really stupid, and I seriously didn’t understand Shunpei’s stupid actions.

Wizard 36 (4) However, despite the episode being bad enough, the actions are actually good. It’s nice to see Wizard utilizing Water Dragon to put out the flames, although he could’ve just use Water and use Liquid Ring to put out the flames, instead of using the Blizzard Ring. However the Phantom got away, and now Shunpei and Rinko are sworn enemies.

As the Tom and Jerry went to search for the suspect again, Haruto encounters Nitou, whom finally starts to feel hungry again! Well because we haven’t heard about him complaining about hunger for 4 weeks, I’m okay with that. But it’s funny how he appears late in the episode, reminds me of his early appearances where he’s not significant to the plot yet. And I don’t think he’s significant yet though aside from selling the toys.

Wizard 36 (5) As for the final fight, it’s revealed that the hill myna is actually the Phantom. Yay~ And turns out that the arsonist is actually a pussy and admits that he didn’t start the fire. And to make matters worse because of Shunpei, he drags the arsonist and Rinko and stole the police car because he doesn’t want the arsonist to be arrested because he’s a Gate and he’s innocent. Motherfucker. I know that Shunpei doesn’t care about the law, but his actions are really stupid, even immature kids know that. And to make matters worse, this episode actually teaches kids to break the law!

For the fight scene, I love that Haruto and Sora now view each other as enemies. However Haruto runs out of mana because of Wiseman earlier, so Beast had to take care of things. The use of Four Buffa Saber Strike going in circles and ram the Ghouls is very neat.

So overall? NO. NO, NO, NO and NO. DO NOT WATCH THE EPISODE. If you’re expecting the first showdown between Wizard VS Wiseman you’ll be disappointed. So no, watch it for the sake of actions, and only the action scenes, otherwise abandon this episode and go watch other things. Seriously, this is Teen Titans Go! level of bad.
