Go-Busters Mission 26: The Little Problem

I just had to use this pic. It's really cool.

This time, instead of stealing Enetron, Enter decides to defeat the Go-Busters first, by weakening their Buster Machines. How? His newest MetaRoid is EraseRoid, a MetaRoid whose ability can erase anything, rendering them useless! But this MetaRoid, he seemed…… handicapped……

By handicapped I mean he’s small. He’s the smallest MetaRoid ever, being the size of an eraser (duhh, obviously). However Enter does not aware of his size, thinking that it was a failed product. He went of to monitor the upcoming EraserZord, completely unaware that the MetaRoid is actually active. Before that I love how Enter being his usual self, acting on something that is related to the creation of MetaRoid. In this case he’s a ‘school teacher’, although by that time it’s summer vacation, and no one’s around.

As for the EMC, Nakamura is afraid to talk to Hiromu since she thinks that the latter is a scary guy, due to the fact that he’s harsh and all that. Even when they’re dispatching, Nakamura tries to give the pencil that Hiromu dropped, but he scolds her harshly. Now we were all aware that Hiromu’s a jerk because he’s always harsh, and this episode gives you that focus. It’s not a Hiromu focus episode, but rather a focus on Nakamura as she deals with Hiromu’s attitude.

When the Go-Busters arrived at the school, they were surprised that Enter didn’t really want to fight them, and that there’s no MetaRoid around. Unbeknownst to them, the EraseRoid sneaks onto Hiromu’s back, with only J.Stag noticed him due to J.Stag is J.Stag.

At the EMC, as the Busters prepare for the MegaZord, the BuddyRoids suddenly forget what they were about to do. And the computer data also disappears too. It appears that EraseRoid is behind all this, and claims that his ability will do him good when he’s at the EMC. But his main purpose is to make Enter compliment him, in a gay way………

[Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_15.50_[2012.08.27_10.37.36]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_16.40_[2012.08.27_10.40.05]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_16.55_[2012.08.27_10.40.43]

Regardless, the Busters went into their Buster Machines, and because of EraseRoid’s doing, they weren’t able to determine the exact time and location of the MegaZord, which causes the EraserZord to have an opening to them. Because EraserZord is a Gamma Type, they need Go-BusterOh. But all of a sudden they can’t even form it. This is because the EraserZord had erased their automatic Go-BusterOh’s data. Even when the Bug Duo arrived, they’re still on a disadvantage because EraserZord brought Delta Type with it.

One thing that I want to point out that during the MegaZord battles the BuddyRoid are also facing technical difficulties, and the most hilarious case is Gorisaki, he even lose his memory slowly! It’s really funny.

Because Beet cannot form Buster Hercules, and GT-02 & RH-03 has been hit so much that they can only move in vehicle mode, StagBuster tells RedBuster to combine with him, forming Go-BusterAce Stag Custom. I find the formation’s name really cool, but the formation itself is weird. I mean the Stag replacing the arm looks a little retarded, and the toy proves it.

However as weird the formation is, it’s AWESOME. Seriously I didn’t expect that the finisher would involve Ace flying, with its guns as the jet! But the formation only get limited screen time and after they destroy Delta, Nakamura said that they can still form Go-BusterOh, the manual way.

Now the manual way requires them to do the combination process carefully using the timing, which is worked through the calculations. It is then the two EMC staff, Nakamura and Morishita shows their AWESOMEness by calculating the timing. And I loved it when Nakamura is fed up with Hiromu being a jerk, she scolds him to the point that Hiromu awkwardly apologizes and the funniest part is, even Kuroki is shocked to hear it!

It is then J.Stag revealed that today the Busters leave too many openings that they got a disadvantage. He marks that an eraser with arms and legs sneak into Hiromu’s back, and Hiromu didn’t even noticed it! With that, the Go-Busters now knows that an eraser MetaRoid lurking in the base. And what’s AWESOME is that J.Stag doesn’t even know that the thing he saw back then is a MetaRoid!

[Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_20.13_[2012.08.27_10.47.43]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_20.19_[2012.08.27_10.48.05]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_21.13_[2012.08.27_10.49.41]

EraseRoid tries to stop Nakamura and Morishita from doing the calculations, but Kuroki goes all AWESOME and ‘fights’ EraseRoid. I really laughed at Kuroki, because he looked so serious to ‘fight’ EraseRoid, with holding a broom like a bo staff and doing a martial arts pose and all that.

Perhaps the most AWESOME part of this episode is the manual formation of the Go-BusterOh. This is probably the first time in the history of Tokusatsu where we get to see how the MegaZord is formed manually. Granted that it is an acually extended version of the formation, but it’s really cool that they brought this stuff up. The fact that the timing needed really adds up the realism of this moment.

After they managed to form Go-BusterOh and destroys EraserZord, EraseRoid had just DEFEATED Morishita and Kuroki, but before the former can hurt Nakamura, RedBuster manages to arrive in time and blasts EraseRoid, defeating him. His defeat would mark the first time ever that a MetaRoid is defeated very easily, with one weak hit. What’s hilarious is that even if he’s defeated, Enter is still unaware that he existed!!!

[Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_21.33_[2012.08.27_10.50.16]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_22.10_[2012.08.27_10.51.04]  [Over-Time]_Spec-Ops_Cell_Go-Busters_-_26_[7FF846FB].mkv_snapshot_22.43_[2012.08.27_10.51.55]

When they get everything back to normal, Nakamura finally gives Hiromu his pen back, and both apologizes to each other for before. But Hiromu becomes a jerk again, saying that Nakamura is scary because she scolded him and he ran away after saying it. Typical Hiromu. Always a jerk!

Overall, AWESOME and hilarious episode. Even though that this is a filler, it’s one hell of a good filler. The comedy aspects really helps this episode and you really should watch the manual Go-BusterOh formation. Definitely recommended.
